Each SCRET Exploration Diver Utilizes the following equipment for deep dives
- Gavin Scooter
- 18 Watt HID Light, some with Video reflectors
- Double Tanks, typically Lp104's
- One AL30 deco bottle with Oxygen
- One AL40 with 50%
Video Systems
- Sony TRV 900 3-chip digital video camera
- Custom Video housing rated to 400+ fsw
- Twin wide-beam 24W HID video lights
Safety Equipment
All SCRET dives are conducted with one boat and one safety diver per team. This ensures maximum safety in the event of parting company with the upline.Each dive team carries the following safety equipment
- 2 Lift bags for decompressing, one of which must be closed cell
- 1 Dive-alert type air whistle, which is carried in a drysuit pocket
- 2 SMB "Safety Sausages" which can also be used as a lift-bag for decompressing
- Enough decompression gas to complete the dive on open circuit
