Doing this type of extreme diving is very gear intensive. It begins with a diver’s personal gear and extends all the way to the vehicles used to get divers to the dive site.

Although it seems like a lot of gear, SCRET divers use the minimum amount required for the job
- Back plate & Harness - Stainless steel - Single piece of nylon webbing for the harness - Crotch strap for stability - NO QUICK RELEASES
- Wings - Better buoyancy and trim characteristics than BC’s - Reduced drag - Greater floatation
- Canister Light - Halogen or HID - Brighter light - Longer burn time - Ditchable weight
- Reel/Safety Spool - 400’ primary - 100’+ safety spool - Used as a navigation tool or as a guideline inside a wreck - Used to shoot a bag for deco
- Buoy/Marker/Grapple - Used to mark a wreck - Serves as an up-line for the divers - Warning device for other boats
- Other Gear - Backup lights (2) - Cutting device - Mask, fins, dry gloves
